Nestled in a picturesque, forested valley, in the area of western Bohemia, Karlovy Vary, or Carlsbad in English, dates back to the Middle-Ages. With a long established reputation as a spa town, it boasts 12 main springs and 300 smaller ones, along with the warm-water Tepla River. Visit the legendary Grand Pupp Hotel, one of the most eye-catching buildings in the town and used as the setting for Daniel Craig’s famous poker game in the James Bond film “Casino Royale”.

Proceed to the visually stunning municipal theatre and admire the skill of the architects and craftsmen who assembled this masterpiece. Continue your walk through the town and take yourself back in time as you wander through its beautiful and symmetrical collection of colonnades.
